Applications for our teachers training program open in August. Dancers will attend a once a month workshop session on Fridays. These sessions will focus on different aspect of teaching and will give the dancers practical experience in apply their skills. Each month our student teachers will have a specific task to complete in their volunteer class. Senior-level student teachers will have the opportunity to lead a full class during a weekend workshop. These teaching opportunities are paid, and dancers will be required to submit an invoice—introducing them to the professional and administrative aspects of working as a dance educator.
