Custom Journals &
Progress Tracking

Personal growth is a core value of our program. Dancers regularly engage in reflection and goal setting during class, using custom journals to track their progress throughout the season. Company dancers will also receive a feedback report card in January.

Competition &
Travel Opportunities

Company dancers take part in competitive events, and have additional opportunities to attend conventions and dance trips. These experiences are approached as educational opportunities that support growth, independence, and adaptability in new environments.

Education Beyond the Steps &
Training the Whole Dancer

Our faculty brings a depth of knowledge in dance history, anatomy, psychology, and progressive training approaches. We believe in educating the whole dancer, offering more than just technique. Dancers are also guided to explore their own creative voice through improvisation and opportunities in student choreography.

Exam Opportunities

Our faculty holds certifications across multiple exam syllabi, bringing a high level of expertise to our training. Examinations offer dancers professional external feedback and the opportunity to achieve recognized credentials.

Winter Production

Our Core and Musical Theatre Company dancers perform in a full-length production each winter. This experience allows dancers to take part in a professionally structured show, where they learn to follow timing, lighting, and staging cues while developing the ability to think critically and adapt in live performance situations. Through this process, dancers gain a deeper understanding of what goes into creating a production and experience the magic of live theatre. It also provides an opportunity to perform without the added pressure of being scored at competitions.

Training the next generation

Our mentorship programs offers senior dancers the opportunity to develop and refine their teaching and choreography skills. We are dedicated to equipping the next generation with the knowledge and experience needed to pursue not only performance, but also education within the dance industry. Senior Company will work collaboratively to create group student choreography and Senior Student Teachers will teach a weekend workshop class near the end of the season.
